MANITOBA'S ADULT EAL LEARNING NETWORK

Beginner Courses

The Beginner Courses focus on basic English skills (CLB 1-4). You will practice all four language skills in the workplace context. You are encouraged to apply what you learn in your real life.

Language explorers are self-assessment tasks. The act numbers correspond to the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB). Try them anytime to see if you can complete tasks at a certain level. Being aware of what you can and cannot do in English is a great independent learning strategy.
