EnglishOnline

English Online is a not-for-profit corporation led by a volunteer board of directors. The organization provides online English resources to adult EAL learners and EAL teachers.

English Online follows approved standards and best practices that have been established within the EAL learning community. We aim to ensure a consistent, measurable approach to online learning content, development, and delivery.

As immigration to Manitoba has increased, so has the need for EAL programs that are accessible to all regions and communities in the province. Our online lessons and activities address learning challenges for rural Manitobans and for those who may not be able to attend regular English classes.

Mission

Our mission is to serve the online English language learning needs of immigrants across Manitoba by linking learners with new and existing EAL learning resources and helping adult EAL institutions, service organizations and community groups develop effective online EAL services for adults.

Funders

English Online is supported by funding provided through the Manitoba Department of Labour and Immigration's Manitoba Immigrant Integration Program. English Online also seeks partner relationships with different levels of government, foundations and industry. .
