Session 2:  Developing CLB-aligned, Task-based Formative Assessments with Ryan Drew

As instructors, we observe and mentally assess our learners on a daily basis. This valuable information needs to be captured and harnessed to benefit our learners and our planning. This presentation will walk you through the steps you need to make to create formative assessment tools that will capture that assessment information. These tools rely on the foundation of the CLB – that of learner-centered, authentic, task-based activities. The different types of tools you can employ, create or adapt will be explored.
